Urinary Tract Complete
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are responsible for nearly 10 million doctor visits each year.
One in five women will have at least one UTI in her lifetime. Nearly 20 percent of women who have a UTI will have another, and 30 percent of those will have yet another. Of this last group, 80 percent will have recurrences.
About 80 to 90 percent of UTIs are caused by a single type of bacteria.
People who get repeated UTIs may need additional tests to check for other health problems.
What is a Urinary Tract Infection?
A urinary tract infection is what happens when bacteria (germs) get into the urinary tract (the bladder) and multiply. The result is redness, swelling and pain in the urinary tract. Most UTIs stay in the bladder, the pouch-shaped organ where urine is stored before it passes out of the body. If a UTI is not taken care of promptly, the bacteria can travel up to the kidneys and cause a more serious type of infection, called pyelonephritis. Pyelonephritis is an actual infection of the kidney, where urine is produced. This may result in fever and back pain.
Are certain people more likely to get UTI's?
Yes. While anyone can get a UTI, some people are more likely than others to get them.
• People who have diabetes may have changes in their body’s immune system, making it easier for them to get UTIs.
• People with blockages in their urinary tract, such as a kidney stone, are more likely to get UTIs. An enlarged prostate gland in a man can also block the flow of urine and cause a UTI.
• Infants who are born with an abnormality of their urinary tract have an increased chance of getting a UTI. Surgery is sometimes needed to solve the problem.
• People who have a catheter, or tube, placed in their bladder for a long time are more prone to UTIs. This is because bacteria on the catheter can infect the bladder.
• Women get more UTIs than men. This may be because women have a shorter urethra, which makes it easier for bacteria to travel up to the bladder.
What causes a UTI?
• About 80 to 90 percent of UTIs are caused by a type of bacteria, called E. coli. These bacteria normally live in your intestines, but they sometimes get into the urinary tract. Some UTIs are caused by other, less common types of bacteria.
• UTIs also may be called cystitis or a bladder infection.
What are the symptoms of a uti?
Some people don’t have any symptoms with a UTI. However, most get at least one or some of the following:
• an urgent need to urinate, often with only a few drops of urine to pass.
• a burning feeling when urinating.
• an aching feeling, pressure or pain in your lower abdomen.
• cloudy or blood-tinged urine.
• a strong odor to your urine.
If the infection spreads to the kidneys and becomes more severe, you may also have:
• pain in your lower back and sometimes a fever and chills.
• nausea and vomiting.

Absorption: Liquids vs. Pills
When deciding what is going to be the best natural supplement, medicine or remedy to buy, should one go with Liquids or Pills? There have been many studies done, and the resounding answer is that the benefits of a liquid far outweigh pill-based products. One of the most referred-to statements is found in the Physician’s Desk Reference. In this widely used medical reference book, it is noted that liquids can be absorbed up to 98%. Where as it states the absorption rate of pills and capsules is 5% - 18%. This means that 80-95% of the ingredients contained in pills are excreted or cleansed from the body, which in itself can be very difficult on one’s system. When this is translated into monetary terms, for every $100 spent on pills, approximately $90 ends up being flushed down the toilet. In contrast, liquid forms of the same supplement has an absorption rate of up to 98%.
Liquids are prepared utilizing fresh elements
Fewer doses required to receive the same amount absorbed into the body
Liquids are far simpler to swallow, particularly for seniors
Liquid ingredients are not compressed, which would require additional digestion by the human body before being assimilated in the body
Liquids are quickly absorbed by the body, resulting in faster (desired) effects
Unlike pills, liquids are not powdered – this means that liquids do not require any sort of buffers, binders or fillers, which would (again) cause an additional delay in digestion – in other words, taking more time to enter the bloodstream
Liquids do not “clog” sewers, cesspools, or septic systems

I was searching for an all natural product for my mother who had chronic UTI's and had leukemia and came across this product and tried it myself --I was hooked!! No prescription meds to clear up my UTI -no yeast infection from antibiotics afterward --no side effects whatsoever just a completely cleared up UTI --this was over 3 years ago and i have since given out several bottles to friends who have loved it as well. Excellent product --use it as directed --I chug it down with a little pure cranberry juice and UTI's are cleared up quickly--I haven't had to use it in over 2 years but use just a little each month to keep things healthy. It truly is an amazing product!*

Activated Apple Cider Vinegar – We use a proprietary process to create what we call Activated Apple Cider Vinegar. Apple cider vinegar, otherwise known as cider vinegar or ACV, is a type of vinegar made from cider and has a pale to medium amber color. Our unpasteurized and organic ACV contains mother of vinegar, which makes the vinegar look cloudy.
Beet - The beetroot is the taproot portion of the beet plant, usually known in North America as the beet, also table beet, garden beet, red beet, or golden beet. It is one of several varieties grown for their edible taproots and their leaves (called beet greens). Other than as a food, beets have use as a food coloring and as a medicinal plant. Many beet products are made from particularly sugar beet. Beetroot is an excellent source of folate and a good source of manganese.
Calcium - Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body. Approximately 99 percent of calcium is present in the bones and teeth. Although only a small amount of calcium is in the blood, the body goes to great lengths to balance blood-calcium levels within a relatively narrow range.
Cinnamon - Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum that is used in both sweet and savoury foods. The term "cinnamon" also refers to its mid-brown colour.
Citric Acid - Citric acid is a naturally occurring acid which is found in large quantities in fruits – notably citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons and certain berries. It is a relatively weak acid and has a distinct, sour taste. It is an integral part of the Krebs cycle and therefore plays an essential role in the metabolism of all living things. The acid was first produced from citrus fruits but this technique was inefficient and only produced small quantities.
D-Mannose - D-mannose is what they call a simple sugar and is related to glucose. We derive our D-Mannose from the bark of birch or beech trees. Vegetarian and certified GMO-free, it is milled to achieve a constant bulk density. Our D-Mannose product is a natural D-Mannose compared to other sources that are usually chemically synthesized.
Garlic - Garlic is a wonderful seasoning to add aroma, taste, and added nutrition to your dishes. We often recommend using raw chopped or pressed garlic in many of our dishes to take advantage of the benefits derived from garlic.
Hibiscus - This herb is consumed in many parts of the world as a tea. Dried hibiscus is edible, and it is often a delicacy in Mexico. It can also be candied and used as a garnish, usually for desserts. The roselle is used as a vegetable. The species of Hibiscus is known in the Philippines for being a souring ingredient for almost all local vegetables and menus.
Honey – Honey contains essential trace vitamins and minerals. Vitamins and Minerals are essential to good health. We use Honey not only for its nutritional values but to use it as a healthy sweetener that doesn't hurt or mess with your natural sugar levels.
Lemon Juice - We use the Lemon juice not only for taste, but the citric acid that lemons bring with it. The juice of the lemon is about 5% to 6% citric acid, which gives a sour taste. The distinctive sour taste of lemon juice makes it a key ingredient in drinks and foods such as lemonade and lemon meringue pie.
L-Lysine – Lysine is an amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is essential in humans, meaning the body cannot synthesize it and thus it must be obtained from the diet.
L-Taurine - Taurine is an organic acid and classified as one of the amino acids. While taurine is sometimes called an amino acid, and indeed is an acid containing an amino group, it is not an amino acid in the usual biochemical meaning of the term.
*This ingredient is not used in shipments intended for use in Japan or Korea.
Organic Flavorings – We use certified organic flavorings to help with the acidic and bitter taste of the Apple Cider Vinegar while enhancing the natural fruit taste of our products.
Parsley - Parsley is a great source of vitamins and antioxidants. Excessive consumption of parsley should be avoided by pregnant women because it's almost too nutritious. It is safe in normal food quantities, but large amounts may have adverse effects.
Peppermint Oil - Peppermint oil contains numerous minerals and nutrients including manganese, iron, magnesium, calcium, folate, potassium, and copper. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin A and Vitamin C.
Potassium - Adequate potassium intake is achieved by eating a variety of foods. Potassium is present in all fruits, vegetables, meat and fish. Foods with high potassium concentrations include yam, parsley, dried apricots, milk, chocolate all nuts (especially almonds and pistachios), potatoes, bamboo shoots, bananas, avocados, coconut water, soybeans, and bran. Dried apricots have the highest concentration of potassium by weight of any food.
Stevia - Stevia is a plant that is native to South America. It is probably best known as a source of natural sweeteners. In fact, native people in South America have used stevia as a sweetener for hundreds of years. Stevia is usually safe, healthy and calorie free.
The B Vitamins - B vitamins are found in whole unprocessed foods. The B vitamins are a group of water-soluble vitamins that play important roles in your body.
Turmeric - The ingredient that most people look for in turmeric is curcumin. Curcumin is a bright yellow chemical produced by some plants. It is a member of the ginger family. It is sold as an herbal supplement, cosmetics ingredient, food flavoring and food coloring.
Vitamin C - Their are many Vitamin C Benefits that help your body's natural ability to cleanse and detox. Vitamin C also contains a proper balance of the major essential buffering minerals: 1) potassium, 2) magnesium, 3) calcium, and 4) zinc. We think Vitamin C is always a good choice.
